(What for wait you?)

What are you waiting for?

 

Auf wen wartest du?

(For whom wait you?)

For whom are you waiting?

 

Auf wen wartet er?

(For whom waits he?)

For whom is he waiting?

 

Ich warte auf meinen Mann.

(I wait for my husband.)

I am waiting for the bus.
