(Understand you me?)

Ich verstehe dich nicht.

(I understand you not.)

I don’t understand you.

 

Ich verstehe ihn nicht.

(I understand him not.)

I don’t understand him.

 

Ich verstehe nicht, was er sagt.

(I understand not, what he says.)

I don’t understand what he says.

 

Entschuldigung, aber ich habe dich nicht verstanden.

(Sorry, but I have you not understood.)

Sorry, but I didn’t understand you.

 

Hast du sie verstanden?
