Ich kenne ihn nicht.

(I know him not.)

Ich kenne deinen Freund.

(I know your friend.)

Seit wann kennst du sie?

(Since when know you her?)

Since when do you know her?

 

Ich kenne sie seit zehn Jahren.

(I know her since ten years.)

I have known her for 10 years.

 

Das ist der Mann, den ich kenne.

(This is the man, whom I know.)

This is the man, whom I know.

 

Das ist das Restaurant, das ich kenne.

(This is the restaurant, that I know.)
