Here are some of the sample sentences I go through in the podcast: 

 

Ich erwarte, dass du kommst.

(I expect, that you come.)

I expect you to come.

 

Ich erwarte, dass du morgen kommst.

(I expect, that you tomorrow come.)

I expect you to come tomorrow.

 

Ich erwarte euch um 10 Uhr.

(I expect you guys at 10 o’clock.)

I expect you guys at 10 o’clock.

 

Ich erwarte Sie morgen um 10 im Büro.

(I expect you Sir tomorrow at 10 in my office.)

I expect you tomorrow at 10 in my office.

 

Ich erwarte, dass Sie pünktlich sind.

(I expect, that you Sir punctual are.)

I expect you to be punctual.

 

Ich habe Sie um 10 Uhr erwartet.

(I have you Sir at 10 o’clock expected.)

I expected you at 10 o’clock.
